Dartmouth Downs BR

The Trojans visited the Dartmouth Indians on Friday night with hopes of winning their first league game of the season. Those hopes were dashed as the Indians defeated the Trojans 63-56 with a very strong 2nd half performance and gnat like defense. The Trojans jumped out to an early lead in the first half and captured a 28-22 half time lead. The indians came storming out of the locker room, outscoring the Trojans by 13 points in the 3rd quarter, to take a 45-38 lead. That lead proved to be too much and the Indians held on for the 63-56 victory.
Senior Captain Joe Freiday led the scoring for the Trojans scoring 13 of his 14 points in the first half, before getting into foul trouble and eventually fouling out with 4:45 left in the game, Senior Jaime Carey scored 12 points and had 5 assists, Senior Captain Rashad Bell had 10 points. The 4-4 Trojans have a busy and challenging week ahead, with 3 more road games against Whitman Hanson, Quincy, and Barnstable.
